Rosini was a professor of Italian history and art who authored books on Dante, Galilei, the history of Italian painting and sculpture and several volumes of poetry. The composer Luigi Gordigiani (1806 - 1860) set one of his poems, "Euriso," to music. (Cimarusti, "The Songs of Luigi Gordigiani") (1220)
