Untitled (Seated Nude)

An original conté crayon on laid paper figure drawing by the important American Abstract Expressionist and founder of the art group “The Ten.” The unsigned drawing depicts a nude drawing of a woman seated on a stool and is dated to 1932 according to paperwork on the verso from the well-known “Bobbie Greenfield Gallery” in Santa Monica, CA as well as included documentation from “Wood Appraisal.”  Light discoloration and foxing across, consistent with age, overall fine. Drawing measures 22 x 30 cm. Float-mounted and matted in white behind acrylic glass in a composite frame with gold tone finish. Framed to 17.0" W x 20.0" H x 1.0" D (13813)
