Attracting the attention of many artists such as Toulouse-Lautrec, Chéret, and Rodin, she was frequently painted and became an important figure of the Art Nouveau. She was also a pioneer of modern theatrical lighting, holding several patents for technologies that created colored stage lights. (19365)
