Rare early Russian postcard photograph of the legendary violinist, taken ca. 1908 with stamp to lower right identifying the photographer as "Imperial Theatres Photographer Fischer." Heifetz, photographed holding his instrument, is identified by white text showing his name in the Cyrillic alphabet. Edge wear, moderate silvering with scattered fingerprints to surface, light crease to lower right corner, else in fine condition. 3.5 x 5.5 inches (9 x 13.8 cm.).
