Recital program from a Sunday, January 21, 1962 performance at Symphony Hall in Boston. The great pianist has inscribed "To Paul - / with appreciative best wishes / Van Cliburn / 21/I/62" to cover.  The performance included works by Beethoven, Prokofiev, and numerous pieces by Chopin, including the Ballade in A-flat Major, two Études, the Fantasie in F Minor, and the Scherzo in C-sharp Minor.  8 pp.  In fine condition.  6 x 9 inches (15.2 x 22.9 cm).

From the collection of Paul McMahon, a critic, photographer and artist who worked for more than 13 years touring with Marlene Dietrich as the icon’s stage manager, announcer, dresser, secretary and escort, and later spent 25 years as an arts and entertainment reviewer and photographer with Gay Community News, Esplanade, Tommy’s Connection, The Mirror, Bay Windows and other publications.
