Collection of 47 unsigned photographs and one postcard photograph of the screen legend, including promotional photographs for the films The Best of Everything, Female on the Beach with Jeff Chandler, Flamingo Road, What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?, Goodbye, My Fancy, The Damned Don't Cry, Possessed, It's a Great Feeling, Sudden Fear, A Woman's Face, Torch Song, and Fashion Tie-Up, along with a television appearance on ABC's The Hollywood Palace. Generally original period prints, many with 1950s date stamps on the verso, overall in fine condition. Various sizes, predominantly 8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm.).From the collection of Paul McMahon, a critic, photographer and artist who worked for more than 13 years touring with Marlene Dietrich as the icon’s stage manager, announcer, dresser, secretary and escort, and later spent 25 years as an arts and entertainment reviewer and photographer with Gay Community News, Esplanade, Tommy’s Connection, The Mirror, Bay Windows and other publications.
