Performed at The Town Hall in New York City on Monday Evening, May 11th, 1953 at 8:30, a little over two years after his death. Program included Beethoven's Symphony No. 4 in B-flat Major, the suite from Pelléas et Mélisande by Fauré, and concluded with a selection of pieces composed by Lipatti himself.
