Signed volume from the Soviet-born ballerina, choreographer, director, and actress who embodied the Bolshoi Theater in the second half of the twentieth century. She has signed boldly in black ink on the title page "Maya Plisetskaya" Unpaginated. Black and white illustrations throughout, text in English, French, and Russian. Hardcover with illustrated boards. Corners bumped, upper cm of spine perished, else very good. 8.5 x 10.75 inches (21 x 27 cm.).
