"Got His Goat" - Press Photograph with his new litter of goats.

Wide World Photo of actor and future president Ronald Reagan, surrounded by baby goats while seated on the floor of a barn stall.  The typed press blurb mounted to verso reads, "Got His Goat / Getting Ronald Reagan's goat could mean one of these.   The delighted film star displays some of the ten Nubian goats born recently at his horse-breeding ranch not far from Hollywood.  In one of the most unusual animal births on record, two sister Nubians both produced quintuplets from the same sire within a span of eight hours."  Stamp to verso from the Photography Department of Havana-based magazine Bohemia.  Small vertical tear to lower right corner, light surface creasing, else in fine condition.  9 x 7 inches (22.9 x 17.8 cm.).
