Signed Concert Program

Original Spanish language program from a Wednesday, February 25 1958 performance of the Orquestra Filarmónica de Madrid featuring the Italian pianist as soloist for a marathon performance of the first three Beethoven Piano Concertos.  Ciccolini has signed his name in blue ink above his biography.  In fine condition.  5.5 x 8 inches (14 x 20.3 cm.).

Born in Italy, Ciccolini became a naturalized French citizen in 1971.  He enjoyed a long and successful career, and became well-known as an interpreter and advocate of French composers, including less well-known composers such as Déodat de Séverac, Jules Massenet, and Jean-Marc Savelli. (20112)
