"Soloists of the Berlin Philharmonic" - Signed Program
Signed single sheet program from a performance by the "Soloists of the Berlin Philharmonic" on May 2, 1972 as part of the Festival Internacional de Santander. The program listing has been signed by all five members of the group; flautist Karlheinz Zoller, oboist Lothar Koch, violinist Michel Schwalbé (who appears to have made a copy-editing adjustment to his printed name), violist Siegbert Ueberschaer, and cellist Wolfgang Boettcher. The performance included works from Bocherini, Beethoven, Britten, Mozart, Schubert, and Rossini. Light toning to recto, else in fine condition. 6.25 x 8.25 inches (15.9 x 21 cm.).
Beginning in 1964, five of the principal members of the Berlin Philharmonic began performing as an ensemble. They regularly toured the world and performed at a number of festivals.
