Upright folio.  8 pp.  Collection of three poems by Ben Ridder set to music by the conductor and composer, who has inscribed "To my dear friend Ambrose / affectionately / Leo" to the front cover.  The present volume includes "Love Is a Song," "The Elms," and "Laughter."  Blocks of toning to front and back covers, else in fine condition.

Kopp was born in Ukraine, the son of a city cantor.  During his career, he spent many years as a conductor with the Chicago Opera. (20290)
