"Moonlighting" - Signed Promotional Photograph

Signed Universal Classics promotional photograph of the British actor in the 1982 film Moonlighting.  Irons has inscribed "Paul / Sincerely / Jeremy Irons" in black felt tip.  Very fine condition.  8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm.).

Irons is widely considered one of the greatest actors of his generation.  He has won numerous awards, including three Emmys, the 1984 Tony for Best Leading Actor in a Play for The Real Thing, and the 1990 Academy Award for Best Actor for the film Reversal of Fortune.

From the collection of Paul McMahon, a critic, photographer and artist who worked for more than 13 years touring with Marlene Dietrich as the icon’s stage manager, announcer, dresser, secretary and escort, and later spent 25 years as an arts and entertainment reviewer and photographer with Gay Community News, Esplanade, Tommy’s Connection, The Mirror, Bay Windows and other publications.
