Signed 1934 Paramount Production promotional bust portrait photograph of the American actress, who has inscribed "To Paul / Claudette Colbert" in black ink.  Signature lightly smudged, light surface crease to center of image, else in fine condition.  8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm.).

Colbert won the Academy Award for Best Actress in 1934 for her performance in the Frank Capra comedy It Happened One Night. Other notable films in her filmography include Cleopatra and The Palm Beach Story.  In 1938 and 1942, she was the single highest paid star in Hollywood.
