Uncommon large format halftone photograph of the Spanish violinist and composer, who has inscribed in Spanish to his friend, the journalist Pier Giulio Breschi, "in testimony of true sympathy and gratidude" ("al amigo Pier Giulio Breschi en prueba di verdadura simptaia y agradicimiento") and signed "Pablo de Sarasate / Genova 6–2–08—." Scattered light foxing to margins, small tear to right edge, overall fine condition. 11 x 14 inches (28 x 36 cm.).
