"Fanny" – Autograph Musical Quotation

AMQS of four measures ("Only you, long as I may live, Fanny - ") from the 1954 musical, written and inscribed by the composer in bold black ink on 8.75 x 3.5 inch ruled music manuscript paper. In very fine condition.

The Broadway production, directed by Logan and choreographed by Helen Tamiris, opened on November 4, 1954, at the Majestic Theatre, where it ran for more than two years before transferring to the Belasco, for a total run of 888 performances. The original cast included Florence Henderson, Ezio Pinza, Mohammed El-Bakkar, and Walter Slezak, who won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical. (4666)
