A single chord autograph musical quotation from the great fiddler, boldly penned on a card and signed "Souvenir de E. Ysaye / 1895." Sold together with a vintage postcard photograph.Carl Flesch called him "the most outstanding and individual violinist I have ever heard in my life," and he was the dedicatee of many major works from Debussy, Saint-Saens, Franck, Chausson and others.
