Scarce signed program-poster for a concert at Queen Elizabeth Hall on 8th May 1977 featuring Ligeti with the Stockholm Philharmonic Wind Quintet, Bruno Canino, Antonio Ballista and the Arditti String Quartet. Signed in full by the composer in black biro beneath a double printed portrait. The concert, part of the Fifth London Music Digest, included the first performance in the UK of Ligeti's "Monument Selbstportrait Bewegung." At the concert he gave a talk and his "Six Bagatelles for Wind Quintet," the "Second String Quartet" and other pieces were also performed. The program opens to a full poster on one side, with program details, biography, works list etc on the verso in folded program format. 8 x 8 inches; 16 x 24 inches fully opened. Very fine. (699)
