Complete Royal Opera House program from an April 25th, 1955 performance of Walton's "Troilus and Cressida," signed boldly in blue ink on the cover by the composer, tenor Peter Pears and in blue pencil by the conductor Malcolm Sargent. 10 pp. 4.8 x 7.5 inches [12.5 x 19 cm]. Fine.The opera was first performed at Covent Garden, London on 3 December 1954 under the direction of Sir Malcolm Sargent; the present rendition is listed in the program as the eighth performance.
