Collection of nine photographs signed by the American dancer and choreographer who specialized in Spanish dance and was a celebrated authority on ethnic dance forms.  Of the nine photographs, two are credited to Jack Mitchell of New York, one to Sal Terracina of New York, and five are stamped to verso by John Lindquist, the official photographer of Jacob's Pillow.  All photographs are inscribed "To Paul," with varying accompanying messages, including 4 inscribed and signed additionally by his wife Carola Goya, another American, with whom he formed the Spanish dance team of Goya and Matteo in 1954. 8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm.). Souvenir program from the great ballerina's 1914-15 tour, featuring halftone photographs of Pavlova and others, together with essays about each of the pieces performed, the cover featuring an inset halftone photograph in decorative printed frame and the dancer's name in raised type to the lower right.  Pavlova's repertoire for the season included dances set to music by Bayer, Dargomiszki, Drigo, Glazunov, Gounod, Liszt, and Spendiarow.  Towards the back of the program, an extended tutorial on three new social dances of Pavlova's own creation can be found, including the Pavlowana.  16 pp.  Bound with string, in fine condition.  9 x 12 inches (22.9 x 30.5 cm.). Souvenir program from a 1913 tour by the great ballerina, featuring halftone photographs and essays about each of the pieces performed.  The cover features a striking raised design showcasing Malvina Hoffman's sculpture of the Russian dancer.  16 pp.  In fine condition.  9 x 12 inches (22.9 x 30.5 cm.).  Together with an original program for a Saturday, October 25, 1913 performance at the Boston Opera House by the great ballerina, which included performances of Drigo's The Magic Flute and Werber's Invitation to the Dance prior to a series of divertissements.  Crease to upper right corner, else in fine condition.  7 x 10 inches (17.8 x 25.4 cm.).
